Radio remote controller คือ เทคโนโลยีที่ช่วยให้การติดต่อสื่อสารระหว่างภาครับและภาคส่งโดยปราศจากการใช้สายสัญญาณในการเชื่อมต่อการรับส่งข้อมูลระหว่างกันจะผ่านอากาศ โดยจะใช้คลื่นวิทยุเป็นช่องทางการสื่อสารแทน ทำให้ไม่ต้องเดินสายสัญญาณ และติดตั้งใช้งานได้สะดวกขึ้น

- Crystal system คือระบบการคอนโทรด้วยโครงตาข่ายของการจับคู่ crystal แต่ละชุดโดย crystal ที่มีความถี่เดียวกันคู่อื่นๆ ไม่สามารถที่เข้ามาแทนที่ได้ลักษณะนี้ เป็นการป้องกันมิให้เกิดการผิดพลาดในการส่งและรับสัญญาณชุดคำสั่งในแต่ละครั้งของการกดปุ่มชุดคำสั่งนั้นๆ
- PLL system (phase lock-loop) เป็นระบบป้อนกลับให้วงจรออสซิเลเตอร์เปลี่ยนแปลงความถี่ไปตามความถี่หรือเฟสของสัญญาณความถี่อ้างอิง อธิบายโดยง่าย คือ ระบบการคอนโทร โดย IC สร้างคลื่นขึ้นมาส่งความถี่ออกไปและวิเคราะห์ให้คงที่ การทำงานรุ่นนี้ตั้งแต่ 30-300M
- การควบคุมระยะการส่งและรับสัญญาณสามารถที่กำหนดความแรงของสัญญาณในระยะตั้งแต่ 100-300 เมตร จากตัวรับถึงตัวส่งของสวิทซ์ไร้สาย
- ระบบ interlock การทำงานเมื่อกดปุ่มใดทำงานแล้วจะกดอีกปุ่มให้ทำงานไม่ได้
- ระบบประหยัดไฟ สามารถตั้ง sleeping mode ระบบปิดตัวเองขณะที่เครนหรืออุปกรณ์ที่ต่อเชื่อมไม่ได้ใช้งาน
- ระบบของ relay ที่มีมากถึง 40 สำหรับป้อนคำสั่งได้มากถึง 40 ฟังก์ชั่น
- ในแต่ละชุดการทำงานของภาครับสัญญาณ (receiver) สามารถรองรับสัญญาณได้อย่างไม่จำกัดจากภาคสัญญาณจากตัวส่ง (transmitter)
- เสริมการทำงานได้โดยต่อกับระบบ แสงเสียงหรือพัดลมในโรงงาน
- สามารถออกแบบ ฟังก์ชั่นการหน่วงเวลาได้ตั้งแต่ 2,3,4 จนถึง 10 วินาที
หมายเหตุ
ปัญหาทั่วไปที่ได้พบเห็นของการใช้สายสวิทซ์ คือ ความสิ้นเปลืองของสายสวิทซ์ และการเสียพื่นที่ในการปฏิบัติงาน เสี่ยงต่อการขาดจากการดึงสายสวิทซ์ เมื่อคำนึงถึงงานที่ใช้พนักงานคนแรกทำหน้าที่กดกล่องสวิทซ์และอีกคนจับชิ้นงานแต่เมื่อเราใช้สวิทซ์ไร้สาย สามารถใช้พนักงานเพียงคนเดียว
